Most cooked foods have very little nutritional value as
cooking destroys all enzymes and about 83 percent of the vitamin
content. As well as this the molecular structure of the protein is changed and organic minerals converted into a form that is not fully useable or beneficial to our bodies.
Raw vegetables are the perfect source of nutrition, but eating raw veg is not the best way to obtain this nutrition. Eating a raw carrot involves first chewing then digesting which although liberates energy, also uses energy and time. The obvious solution is to juice the raw vegetables. With pulp/fibre removed, nutrients do not have to go through the long energy consuming process of digestion. This allows nutrients to pass directly into the blood stream, within minutes these nutrients are feeding the cells and therefore nourishing the whole body. Apart from aiding in quick recovery after exercise these living juices provide the raw materials that enable to body to repair itself more efficiently after injury or sickness.
