offers a 5-week instructional series for beginning
meditators. These classes provide a good overview of insight meditation practice, as well as many guided meditation
sessions which help the student learn how to establish and sustain a daily meditation practice.
The five week recorded classes
contain the entire class timeframe, which includes techniques,
postures, overviews, student questions, the actual
meditation, and more. This is reflected in the length of
each lesson, as the majority go for over a hour and a half.
It is recommended that you practice each week's lesson for a
full week, before moving on to the following week's lesson.
Gil's extensive experience allows
him to cover all areas with insight and good humour. You
will feel as though you are actually in the room as one of his
students, while you proceed through each of the lessons.
